    Han S. Hong, a designer from California, has created a concept of a high-tech device for college students, called Xpand. The device allows user to feel the volume of the book by “giving feedback of reading progress with weight-shifting technology”. The more of the book you read, the left-hand side becomes heavier.     Designer Chi-Tai Hsu has noticed that while reading on a tablet users may suffer discomfort from the constant scrolling and swiping. He came up with the “Reading Serenely” concept e-reader that mimics the way we “naturally flip from page to page with finger swipes happening less frequently.” Via Yanko Design.
