In an effort to make quarantine a bit easier, Audible decided to make a vast selection of its titles available to listen to for free.
The audiobook platform announced that a mix of classics, education and entertainment books will remain free to stream for anyone for as long as schools are closed.
“For as long as schools are closed, we’re open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids” – Audible announced on Thursday, March 19.
Some of the now-free titles include Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre (narrated by Westworld’s Thandie Newton), Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (narrated by Downtown Abbey’s Dan Stevens), and many children’s books – from Winnie The Pooh to Peter Rabbit.
To get started, simply visit Audible’s website. You do not need to log-in, create a password, or provide any credit card information – and instead, you are free to enjoy Audible’s vast selection of titles to the full.
