Ebooks were invented over 50 years ago, when I was just two years old. The first Kindle was launched back in 2007. At that time, I was a full-time ad man, and didn’t even think of devoting the rest of my life to ebooks.
How old were you when you started your adventure with ebooks? What was the first ebook you read? What was your first Kindle? Do you still keep it?
You see, ebooks and e-readers are a part of our daily lives for a long time, but there are still not enough ways to express it.
When you want to find a Kindle t-shirt or home decor on Amazon, a few items pop up in search results. Most of them are unrelated. The rest are either too ugly or too fancy.
It’s a pity that Amazon haven’t created an official Kindle merchandise. I am sure there are many modern book lovers who would love to get a t-shirt with a Kindle logo or a throw pillow with a stylized image of a boy reading an ebook on a Kindle e-reader under a tree.
That’s why I decided to create Kindle-related artwork by myself, in full compliance with the brand’s copyrights.

“Crazy people love their Kindles” quote
The quote comes from a book by the Irish writer Dermot Davis – Brain: The Man Who Wrote the Book That Changed the World – a satirical look at the life of the writer in the modern-age publishing.
The quote looks extremely well on dark t-shirts. The default colors for home decor, personal accessories, and wall art is Chocolate Brown.
Books and ebooks – love them all
Ebooks or print books? Do you really have to choose?
This simple typographic idea shows that the letter “e” is a part of a letter “b” in the word “books.” Ebooks are a part of the book lover’s world, just like print books are. The format doesn’t matter, as long as you like to read.
Reading app theme picker
This minimal design is inspired by the color picker interface of modern e-reading apps, where the most common colors are Black, Dark, Sepia, and White. Two other color variants – with white and sepia colors picked (and on corresponding background colors) – are also available.
Fit for lit
The design is inspired by an interface of fitness apps. In this case, it’s all about the level of stress you were able to reduce, the number of pages you have read, and the reading speed.
Practice reading literature as often as possible. Reading for just a few minutes can reduce stress by even 60%. Are you going to read today?

This simple modern design refers to the brightness level setting in the Kindle e-reader or reading apps. Reading books makes you see more and more clearly.
Recharge your brain & read books every day
The idea shows the battery icon. The bars are actually books – the book standing at the end of a row indicates that. The text says: “Recharge your brain. Read books every day.”
There is also a dark brown version of the design, which works great on all kinds of apparel, including caps and hoodies.
Too long; didn’t recharge (e-reader edition)
The e-reader version of “Too long; didn’t read” is insanely simple: “Too long; didn’t recharge.” Even if you read for too long, there is no need to recharge your device.
The design is particularly meaningful when you place it on a smartphone case or tablet sleeve – devices you need to recharge every day.
